How to prepare a drawing or STEP file to request a quote.
With a 3D model in STEP, a PDF drawing with the key dimensions and five basic pieces of information, we can give you a fast quote with no surprises. Here is the checklist.

The files
- 3D model in STEP (.step/.stp): the neutral format every CAD program reads. IGES, Parasolid or STL for freeform shapes also work.
- PDF drawing with the dimensions and tolerances that matter, threads, finishes and notes. The 3D model gives the shape; the drawing says what is critical.
- Photos or a scan if it is an existing part with no drawings: we can scan it.
- If there are many files, compress them into a ZIP. Our form accepts up to 5 files and 25 MB.
The data that is not in the file
- Material and, if applicable, treatment or coating.
- Quantity: one part, a batch or an annual forecast.
- General tolerances and critical dimensions.
- Surface finish or, for composites, exposed, painted or clear-coated finish.
- Required lead time and delivery location.
- Whether you need an inspection report.
Common mistakes
If you are unsure, send us whatever you have and we will review it with you. We work confidentially and sign an NDA if you need one.
- Sending only an STL when there are toleranced dimensions: an STL is a mesh and loses accuracy.
- Drawing and 3D model from different revisions.
- Very tight tolerances on the whole part when only two or three dimensions matter: they drive up cost unnecessarily.
- Not stating the quantity: it changes the process and the price.
CNC Machining
3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC machining with travels up to 8 × 3 × 2 m in Alicante, Spain: molds, models, tooling, technical parts and CNC turning. Request a quote.

From physical part to CAD model, plus part-to-CAD comparison.
Send us your drawing or 3D model, and we’ll bring it to life.
We study your project with the same care you put into designing it, then send you a clear proposal covering process, lead time and price. Only have the physical part? We’ll scan it and take it from there.
What customers ask us most.
Which 3D format do you prefer?
STEP. We also accept IGES, STL, OBJ, 3MF, DWG and DXF.
Do I have to send a drawing?
No, but a PDF drawing with the critical dimensions avoids errors and speeds up the quote.
Are my files confidential?
Yes. We only use them to study your project and, if you ask, we sign an NDA before receiving them.
