Forged carbon: every part is one of a kind.
Chopped carbon fiber compression-molded with resin. The result is a marble-like pattern that never repeats, with the lightness and stiffness of carbon. We make it to order, starting from the mold.
A look that cannot be copied.
In forged carbon the fiber is not woven but chopped and randomly oriented. That gives a very recognizable finish, highly valued in performance cars, watchmaking, design and accessories.
How the cut pieces are placed in the mold decides the final pattern: it is hand work that we do part by part.

Forged carbon mirrors for a Lamborghini Huracán.
We 3D-scanned the original part, machined a two-piece mold with inserts, measured it, laid up the forged carbon and measured again so the mounting points match the originals. See the full project.
Forged carbon: Lamborghini Huracán mirror cover
3D scanning, a CNC mold with inserts, measurement, forged carbon lamination and a first-time fit: how we made a mirror cover for the Lamborghini Huracán.

Technical articlesWhat is forged carbon
How it is made, how it differs from woven fabric and what it is for.
Send us your drawing or 3D model, and we’ll bring it to life.
We study your project with the same care you put into designing it, then send you a clear proposal covering process, lead time and price. Only have the physical part? We’ll scan it and take it from there.
What customers ask us most.
What is forged carbon?
A composite of chopped carbon fiber and resin, compression-molded. Its random pattern makes every part unique.
Is it as strong as woven carbon fiber?
Its properties are different: it is more isotropic (similar strength in all directions) and adapts better to complex geometries, but it does not reach the stiffness of an oriented woven laminate. We choose one or the other depending on the part.
Can you copy an existing part in forged carbon?
Yes. We scan the original, build the model, machine the mold and make the part. We check dimensions before and after lay-up.
Do you make one-off parts for private customers?
Yes, we look at each case. The Huracán project was for a private customer.
