Out-of-autoclave (OOA) prepreg.
Prepregs formulated to cure with vacuum and heat only, in an oven. They come close to autoclave quality with lighter, more economical molds, and with no size limit set by the autoclave chamber.
Prepreg quality, at lower cost.
OOA prepreg is a good option when you need the finish and consistency of a prepreg but the part does not demand the full performance of the autoclave, or when the cost of an autoclave mold is not justified.
We lay up in a climate-controlled clean room and cure in a 4 × 2 × 1.8 m oven at up to 200 °C, under vacuum throughout the cycle.
- Visible carbon fiber parts
- Prototypes and short runs
- Lighter molds than for autoclave
- Parts that do not fit in an autoclave

A practical comparison to choose the process by part, run size and budget.
Send us your drawing or 3D model, and we’ll bring it to life.
We study your project with the same care you put into designing it, then send you a clear proposal covering process, lead time and price. Only have the physical part? We’ll scan it and take it from there.
What customers ask us most.
What does an OOA part lose compared with autoclave?
Usually slightly higher porosity and slightly lower fiber content. For many automotive, industrial or sports parts the difference is not significant, but the savings are.
Can you oven-cure large parts?
The oven measures 4 × 2 × 1.8 m. For longer parts, our autoclave with 8 m of usable length is activated per project.
What materials do you use for OOA?
Carbon fiber, fiberglass and kevlar prepregs formulated for out-of-autoclave curing, according to the specification of each project.
